Chicken Dewormer EO Blend

A natural dewormer for chickens and roosters that acts as preventative internal parasite support. This blend is one part of the recipe and is designed to mix with Diatomaceous Earth. The mixture has mechanical action against parasites in the gut, is anti-parasitic, has anti-inflammatory properties, aids in digestion, and is safe for poultry.

Frequency: 

Use 2-3 times per week for maintenance; daily for 7 days in a mild worming protocol.

Instructions:

1. Mix blend with 1 tablespoon of food-grade Diatomaceous Earth thoroughly.
2. Combine the mixture into 1/2 cup of softened/mashed feed or cooked oats.
3. Serve fresh. Do not store pre-mixed, as essential oil potency and safety may degrade.

Usage Notes and Precautions:

• The dose is appropriate for up to 4-5 chickens depending on weight (standard backyard hens).
• Do not exceed 1 drop of EO per 3-4 birds per day.
• Chicks under 8 weeks should not receive EOs internally unless directed by a veterinary. 
• Ensure fresh water is always available at all times.
